Aquaculture Facility

The Chino Valley aquaculture facility was built in 1997. This unique classroom teaches students how to raise rainbow trout from eggs to marketable size, manage a successful aquaculture facility and sell the trout to different organizations and businesses. In addition to
raising and selling trout the Chino Valley FFA Chapter holds an annual fee fishing event every year to raise money for the chapter and to get the community involved in the Aquaculture industry. The Chino Valley FFA Aquaculture program's facility consists of a climate controlled greenhouse with an adjacent trout pond. The greenhouse contains Egg hatching tanks and other production tanks for raising trout through all the stages of their lives. The Chino Valley FFA Aquaculture facility contains all the equipment
and the devoted staff necessary to teach students about the aquaculture industry and the required skills to run a successful facility.
