Aquaculture
Facility
The Chino Valley
aquaculture facility was built in 1997. This unique classroom
teaches students how to raise rainbow trout from eggs to
marketable size, manage a successful aquaculture facility
and sell the trout to different organizations and businesses.
In addition to

raising
and selling trout the Chino Valley FFA Chapter
holds an annual fee fishing event every year to
raise money for the chapter and to get the community
involved in the Aquaculture industry. The Chino
Valley FFA Aquaculture program's facility consists
of a climate controlled greenhouse with an adjacent
trout pond. The greenhouse contains Egg hatching
tanks and other production tanks for raising trout
through all the stages of their lives. The Chino
Valley FFA Aquaculture facility contains all the
equipment |

and the devoted
staff necessary to teach students about the aquaculture
industry and the required skills to run a successful facility.
