Greenhouse

The Chino Valley greenhouse is a rare horticulture experience. Built in 1998 this 2000 square foot greenhouse provides students with a background in hydroponics, and closed environment

agriculture. Students participate in hands on activities while raising a plethora of plants for the school and community. Plants grown will depend on the season. In the summer months students will raise ornamentals and landscaping plants. During the winter month they will focus on tomatoes. Students use advancing technologies to grow plants that will produce the highest crop yield for this area. The chapter sells the produce to the local community grocery store and to community members to provide chapter funding.
